What 99.9% means in practice

99.9% uptime over a 30-day month = maximum 43 minutes and 49 seconds of allowed downtime. Any outage on our infrastructure beyond this threshold triggers credit eligibility.

What is covered

Network failures, hardware failures (disk, RAM, CPU), hypervisor crashes, and power issues at our Delhi DC. If we cause the downtime, the SLA applies.

How credits work

For every hour of downtime beyond the SLA threshold, you receive 1 day of hosting credit. Credits apply to future invoices. Open a ticket within 7 days of the incident.

The 99.9% SLA covers our network and hardware. Downtime caused by misconfigured software, OS crashes, full disks, or issues inside your VPS is not covered — this is unmanaged hosting and OS-level stability is your responsibility.

What does 99.9% uptime actually mean?

99.9% uptime allows a maximum of 43 minutes and 49 seconds of downtime per 30-day month. If network or hardware issues cause downtime beyond this threshold, you are eligible for an SLA credit.

How do I claim an SLA credit?

Open a support ticket at my.giganodes.host within 7 days of the incident. Include the date, time, and duration of the downtime. Our team will verify against monitoring data and apply credit to your account.

What is the credit amount for an SLA breach?

For each hour of downtime beyond the 99.9% threshold, you receive 1 day of hosting credit. Credits are applied to your account balance and offset against future invoices. Credits are not redeemable for cash.

Does the SLA cover DDoS downtime?

DDoS attacks that exceed our 1Tbps+ mitigation capacity are covered under force majeure and are excluded from SLA calculations. Downtime caused by our infrastructure failures (hardware, network, power) is covered.
